Centella Asiatica also known as Gotu Kola, grows in Asia, India, Madagascar, Central America as well as tropical regions of Oceania. It is also called tiger grass because tigers would rub their wounds in the Centella plants to promote healing! It has a history of medicinal use. In herbalism it is widely used as an adaptogen. Adaptogens are natural ingredients that reduce physical and biological stress.
